How to pay an AP electricity bill online
Andhra Pradesh electricity bills are paid on the distribution company’s own website or its authorised payment gateway — never on this site. The cards above only open the official page so you can finish the payment where your DISCOM actually collects money.
You need the 13-digit service number printed on your latest bill (often labelled Service No. or Unique Service Connection number). Keep a payment receipt. It is the practical answer if an arrear appears later on a bill you believe you have already settled.
- Identify your DISCOM (APEPDCL, APCPDCL or APSPDCL) from the district on your bill, or type the district into the finder on this page.
- Open the official payment page from the matching card. Check that the address bar shows the DISCOM’s own domain or its named gateway before you type anything.
- Enter the service number, complete the captcha if asked, and wait for the billed amount to appear. Confirm the name and address match your connection.
- Pay with UPI, net banking or card on that official page. This site never sees the amount, the card number, or an OTP.
- Save the receipt. Pay within about 14–15 days of the bill date to avoid delayed payment surcharge on many domestic and small LT services (₹25 a month in the current schedule).
Do not pay through random links
Messages that threaten immediate disconnection unless you tap a WhatsApp or SMS link, install an app, or share an OTP are a common fraud. A DISCOM will not ask for card details or OTPs by phone. If you are unsure, call 1912 and pay only from the DISCOM website you opened yourself.
What this page cannot do
We cannot look up your bill, confirm a payment, reverse a surcharge, or change a tariff category. Those actions exist only inside the DISCOM’s systems. Use this page to reach the right official site; use 1912 or your section office for anything about the account itself.
